About the sculpture
This is an inspirational, meaningful yet elegant piece created by a very established contemporary Greek sculptress, Aggelika Korovessi.
The virtues of a sculpture of classical beauty are nicely combined with modern lines
On the one hand, we can see the bronze figure characterized by restrained harmony, proportional beauty, and a sense of idealization, on the other we can see the spiral denoting time and evolution, painted in a vivid green color and the multicolor fish. The artwork can be justly regarded as a symbol of prosperity and success. The fisherman manages to stay on top of things, proudly balancing, carrying with him the fruits of his ceaseless tenacious struggle.
