Although Aggelika Korovessi is mostly celebrated for her male balancers, with “Fragile Balance” she chooses to depict a female figure balancing on a butterfly’s wing.
This sculpture maintains her idea of the importance of balance even in the most difficult situations. With grace and decisiveness, the figure balances upon a fragile wing to manifest the artist’s vision of real power; subtle but definite, delicate but unambiguous.
