Ficus Nitida

Ficus microcarpa (Nitida)  is a tropical and subtropical tree that belongs to the mulberry family and has many common names such as Indian laurel, Chinese banyan, and Malayan banyan.

It is widely grown as an ornamental plant, a shade tree, and a bonsai specimen because of its attractive foliage, aerial roots, and flexible branches.

It can grow up to 20 meters tall in the wild, but can be kept much smaller in pots or containers. It prefers bright indirect light, moderate watering, and well-drained soil.
